INTEGRA HEALTH - REHAB TREATMENT CENTERS
Integra Health began in Bellevue, WA in 2008 under the name of PMO Care. The clinic originally provided comprehensive pain management care, but soon realized the opioid epidemic within this patient population and changed its focus to addiction. The practice in Bellevue grew steadily and the Tigard, OR clinic opened its doors in July of 2016.
Today, both clinics offer medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction as well as chemical dependency counseling and education. The experienced clinical staff is led by Medical Director Kirsten Carr, MD and Behavioral Health Medical Director Rebecca Bay, MD.

WHY INTEGRA HEALTH - REHAB TREATMENT CENTERS
Our experienced interdisciplinary team has been offering comprehensive out-patient services to addicted individuals and their families in the Seattle area since 2008 and has now expanded care to the Portland / Tri-counties area. Our dedication to patient-centered care and evidence-based treatment has earned us a reputation for excellence in helping families affected by the difficulties caused by substance abuse.
Integra Health offers a variety of options for those who are ready to address the negative impact of opioid addiction on their lives. We specialize in medication assisted treatment which is an approach that combines medication that eliminates withdrawal symptoms and reduces cravings with chemical dependency counseling and education. Together, these modalities allow patients to regain a normal state of mind – free from drug-induced highs and lows. This, in turn, provides the necessary starting point to understand and address the underlying issues that contributed to the addiction in the first place. For the first time, individuals can focus on the necessary lifestyle changes that are necessary to sobriety, recovery, health and well-being.
At Integra Health we recognize the importance of culturally appropriate treatment and our diverse staff is experienced at delivering individualized care. Patients work with their doctor to determine their treatment plan. Several options are available.
- Suboxone ® (Buprenorphine / Naloxone) was the first medication approved in the U.S. for the treatment of opioid addiction in an office-based setting. It is highly effective in eliminating withdrawal symptoms and the intense cravings that frequently accompany addiction. Treatment using this medication is closely monitored using a staged approach that changes as the patient stabilizes and progresses through recovery.
- Vivitrol ® (Naloxone) is appropriate for patients who have completed detox, are opiate-free and would like this injectable medication to support their sobriety. This treatment is frequently selected by those in abstinence-based programs.
- Individual and / or group counseling is in integral part of all patient care plans. Behavioral healthcare is available on-site. Alternatively, patients may opt for outside counseling and mental health services. Our team can assist with referrals as well as coordinating care with outside behavioral health specialists.
For many people, outpatient addiction treatment is the best solution. Patients can receive affordable, convenient, confidential care while continuing with their normal work, school and life schedules.

Drug & Alcohol Addiction Rehab Centers
Integra Health Care centers offer addiction treatment programs for every drug found on the street and in doctor’s offices. The most common substance addiction programs we offer are:
- Heroin treatment
- Opiate treatment
- Methamphetamine treatment
- Marijuana treatment
- Xanax treatment
- Percocet treatment
- Benzo treatment
- Painkiller treatment
- Oxycontin treatment
- Club drugs treatment
- K2/Spice treatment
- Cocaine treatment
- Ecstasy treatment
- Flakka treatment
Each program begins with a thorough assessment in order to determine each condition patients may be suffering from, as well as how severe their addiction may be. Depending on the results, the next step may be the detoxification (detox) process, which may take anywhere from 5-14 days. The detox process is the safe removal of all toxic substances from the body. During this process, patients will experience symptoms of withdrawal that will be uncomfortable and at times unbearable. Medical professionals are equipped to administer medical support in order to ease those symptoms; they will also administer nutritional support in order to replenish the body’s vital vitamins and minerals and restore the body to a normal state.
Following the detox process, patients participate in a series of therapeutic modalities that are designed to teach them how to regain control of their lives. The therapeutic modalities are a combination of traditional and experiential therapies. Therapies, such as cognitive behavioral and brief strategic family therapy, allow patients to recognize their maladaptive behaviors in order to replace them with positive coping mechanisms. The family therapy is very important because it rebuilds relationships that have been broken because of the stress of addiction. What most people do not realize is that often times, family and loved ones may be a certain factor in developing an addictive personality; therefore, it is extremely important to include them in the therapeutic process. Families learn how they may have contributed to addiction, what they can do to help their loved one through the substance addiction treatment and how they can support their loved one after they complete a successful substance addiction treatment program.
Integra Health Care’s substance addiction treatment is the best way for patients to begin the journey to a more fulfilling life.
Behavioral and Mental Health Treatment
There are over 43 million people who suffer from behavioral and mental health disorders, and like those who are addicted to substances, only a small percentage of them seek treatment because they are embarrassed or ashamed of their condition. Integra Health can assist patients who suffer from symptoms such as:
- Muscle aches
- Trouble falling asleep
- Loss of Focus
- Suicidal thinking
- Decreased sexual desire
In order to successfully treat behavioral and mental health disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, anxiety disorder and PTSD, it is important to participate in therapeutic modalities that are designed to pinpoint the triggers that lead to the symptoms of those disorders.
Some of the most effective therapies include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Solution Focused Brief Therapy
- Brief Strategic Family Therapy
- Family Therapy
The cognitive behavioral therapy treatment is one of the most effective therapies for behavioral and mental health disorders. It teaches patients how to recognize their negative behaviors and replace them with positive coping mechanisms. Mindfulness and meditation are also other helpful therapies; they help patients focus, breathe and calm themselves in order to relax and react to situations in a calm and positive manner.
Each therapy teaches patients different tools to recover successfully and maintain their mental well-being outside of treatment. The goal of every behavioral and mental health treatment program is to teach patients how to function normally in every type of situation.
Integra Health Care centers provide the tools necessary for those who are suffering from addiction, behavioral and mental health disorders to regain control of their lives and live free from the dependence of drugs.
